Jason Moore

Jason Fredrick Moore was born to Rodney and Suzanne Moore in January, 1969 in El Cajon, California. His family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 1975 where they learned the gospel. While attending the Oak Ridge church in his youth, Jason was encouraged to preach by the late David Riggs.
Jason and his wife, Jennifer (Anderson), met while in high school and married in June of 1991. In 1997, Brother Moore received his B.A. in Biblical Studies with the first class of four-year graduates from Florida College. He is now back in the Tampa area, preaching for the Livingston Avenue congregation in Lutz, Florida.
Jason’s earliest preaching experiences include work with Harold Comer in a summer training program both in 1989 and 1990. He moved here to Southside in 1992 to work with Brother Bowman in the young preacher program and remained as a local evangelist for eleven years. He then preached for the Vestavia Hills church in Birmingham, Alabama from 2003 to 2007 before moving to Lutz in October of last year.
The Southside church is proud to claim Jason and Jennifer Moore as a part of her heritage. Brother Moore’s abilities as a writer and gospel preacher are widely known and appreciated.
Welcome home, Jason.
